Go Skate Day

Started by the IASC in 2004 as a way to get people actually skating instead of just talking about it online. What began as industry promotion evolved into something more genuine – a day when local scenes actually show up to the same spot and remember why they started skating. Whether it's the Manchester DIY getting busy or Texas Beach turning into a zoo, Go Skate Day strips away the usual hierarchies and reminds everyone that skateboarding works best when it's inclusive. The products we carry for the day aren't some marketing cash grab – they're limited pieces from brands that understand the assignment. Expect graphics that reference the culture instead of exploiting it, and collabs that actually make sense. The whole point is getting people out there rolling around, not collecting dust on shelves. Sure, the day can get corny when brands try too hard, but at its core, it's about the simple act of skateboarding bringing people together across age, skill level, and whether you think street or vert is better (it's street, obviously).
