THE YARDBIRD
We cannot lie- this board is directly inspired by the old Schmitt Stix Yardstick. Our friend Mike Archimedes used to ride that board, no he RIPPED! that board, and there was a time in the mid to late 80's that a lot of people rode and RIPPED! longer boards (not 'longboards'). Arc, Jake, Curtis Hsaing, and on and on. It's an inherently more aggressive approach; it takes more effort and therefore you put more of your body into it and the results can be RADICAL! The Yardbird was shaped with intention by San Francisco's own Mike Archimedes.
